What Our Patients Are Saying

Sarah Jordan is a miracle worker. She knows an immense amount about body mechanics, and has magic hands. I was referred to her by a top orthopedist, and recommend her most highly.

She's good, really good. One of the most intuitive medical professionals I've ever seen. Within the first 30 minutes of meeting Sarah, it felt like she had a deep understanding of my issues and how my body was moving, and most importantly— how to fix it. 4 months working with her has undone YEARS of back and hip problems.

That nagging injury or posture thing that you've had for years and have tried everything.... Sarah can figure it out.

Stop looking for a PT now you have come to the right place! Sarah is the best PT you will ever meet! When first introduced to Sarah as my PT she listened to every concern I had about my body plus the ones my GP doctor prescribed her for. She quickly came up with a program that would help heal my body and took action. One thing you will notice about Sarah is that she is not worried about her bottom line! If there is an issue that Sarah can not fix she does not have an issue with helping you find someone that can help you! She truly cares about her patients becoming whole and their quality of life. You will not regret it!

Sarah is a miracle worker! I first went to Sarah several years ago for a foot problem after struggling with it for over a year, trying multiple interventions and seeing multiple sports medicine doctors, podiatrists, and other PTs. Sarah evaluated me, quickly identified the problem, and over the course of a few months -- with targeted functional exercises and manual therapy -- got me back not only to running, but to running without orthotics! Since then I go back to her whenever something is a bit off (with similar results) and I recommend her to everyone I know. She's extremely skilled as a diagnostician and at manual therapy (she's the first ever PT I've been to whose work resulted in changes to my movement after a single session). She is also sympathetic and funny and a pleasure to be around. Highly, highly recommend!

I am a real estate broker in Manhattan. I must be in good shape in order to work and walk around with clients. My son found Sarah when his back was in very bad shape due to bad treatments from a doctor. Sarah, her knowledge is beyond expectation. She saved my son’s back and health. I cannot be more grateful. So, when I had problems after a fall, she was able to “fix” me so I was able to function. I highly recommend Sarah services, you will be amazed of the results. She gives one on one treatments privately, not like a factory operation.

Sarah, I am compelled to write to tell you that you are the best practitioner of your specialty I have ever encountered. I have told you this on many occasions but I hope the written word will be heard better than the spoken word. Odd?

Sarah, my experience with PTs has been favorable with one egregious exception but none has addressed my problems with the skill and understanding that you show each time I see you.

At 95, and as a nurse clinician, consultant and educator I know whereof I speak.

Sarah has been such a great PT. I first came to Sarah with a herniated disc injury. Before Sarah, I went to a PT but he was giving me exercises that didn’t help the problem and were easy for me since I worked out. I really appreciated finding Sarah and that she did more manual work on me to get to the route of the problem. Sarah can tell what is off just by the way you walk and that is very impressive. Sarah has since helped me with my back injury and continues to help me with my mobility and pain areas that come up from working out and every day life. I always feel better after going to Sarah and appreciate how knowledgeable she is about the body. Whether you have a body injury or just want to work on your mobility, I would recommend Sarah in a heart beat. Not to mention she is really funny and does the best accents ;)

I have been seeing Sarah since 2017. Upon my first visit, I arrived with MRI results, showing multiple herniated and bulging disc in my neck and back Which limited mobility in those regions. She was able to discern the results, and carefully address my problematic areas. I always left her office with new exercises and increased range of motion which, as a result, relieve me of acute pain. I have been impressed with her knowledge and motivation to pursue continuing education and physical therapy to further enhance her skills. Over the years, I have continue to visit Sara to address reoccurring issues whether they appear in my neck, back, or hips. I even recall a time where she focused on pain in my shoulder and elbow. Sarah has a discerning eye, and can amazingly identify elements by asking me to perform simple movements, like walking or squatting. I always leave her office with a smile. She. is empathetic and caring extremely focused during treatment. She always reads my emotions and relieves my stress with her casual humor and warm plinthside manner. Thank you for improving my life, Sarah!

"If they treated physical therapy like frequent flyer miles I'd have comfortably reached "Diamond" status years ago. In over 20 years of seeing physical therapists I can confidently say I've never seen someone do a better job than Sarah Jordan of SerendiPT. Sarah is an incredibly knowledgeable and skilled practitioner, whether dealing with post-op recovery, preventative maintenance, traumatic injury or general wear and tear. Typically going to PT is a chore - the road to recovery can be daunting - but Sarah's calming demeanor, professionalism, and light hearted personality instantly puts you at ease. Everyone is going to need a physical therapist at some point in their lives...do yourself a favor and make an appointment with Sarah when you do."

Sarah Jordan is the best physical therapist I have ever been to and she has been such a life saver! I have been going to Sarah since 2017 and she has treated me for various injuries I sustained while running including grade 4 osteoarthritis in my knee and feet and hip bursitis. When I first started going to Sarah in 2017 I had severe osteoarthritis in my knee and couldn’t walk up or down stairs. Sarah got me back to walking and exercising without pain quickly and Sarah’s healing hands have allowed me to avoid knee replacement surgery. I went to Sarah in September 2023 with bad pain in my hip and after a couple of sessions the pain subsided and I feel as good as new. She is an extraordinarily knowledgeable and skilled practitioner who genuinely cares about her patients. Sarah’s manual therapy is unsurpassed. Sarah is so incredibly helpful and takes time to explain your diagnosis and treatment plan. I am so incredibly grateful that my personal trainer referred me to Sarah because she is so amazing and such a miracle worker! I couldn’t recommend Sarah more highly-she is a unique gem among the many physical therapists in NYC.

Sarah has a special ability to see, feel, and observe what others can’t.

She helped me correct a gait issue that other therapists and even physicians had missed two years after a surgery, and I could not be happier with how much more mobility and strength I’ve gained back because of her that I thought was lost in just a few months of structured exercises.

She is the best - no better investment than one on one PT. Thank you Sarah!

Sarah’s manual skills are unmatched and almost seem like magic. I am a professional dancer and personal trainer and have been dealing with hypermobility-related chronic pain for 5 years now - I’ve been in and out of PT without noticeable results and always felt ‘off’. Sarah looks for things no one has mentioned before. She watched me walk and then addressed and fixed my lumbar spine and realigned my tailbone. I felt completely different after one visit, and I will be coming back regularly.
